Staff Sgt. Adam Proctor has dedicated nearly 19 years to the Army. During that time he deployed to Mosul, Iraq in 2007 and Amaraha, Iraq in 2009.
When he heard the news, he thought about all the things he would no longer be able to do. At the Fort Campbel SRU, he found ways to do everything he thought he lost through adaptive sports. Adaptive sports played a major role in his recovery, giving him goals to work for.
Despite this significant challenge, he was evaluated in June 2023 and found fit for duty. Staff Sgt. Proctor continues to serve with dedication at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH) at Fort Campbell.

“Adaptive sports played a major role in my recovery, giving me goals to work for. I found a new team that helps and supports each other.”
