San Antonio, Texas, will be the Home of the 2026 Games as Warrior Games Honors the City with a New Logo Reveal

San Antonio, Texas. – November 20, 2025 – San Antonio, famously known as “Military City USA,” is set to host the prestigious Warrior Games this summer, marking the first time the event will be held in this historic and military-centric location celebrating the resilience, determination, and triumph of wounded, ill, and injured military personnel and veterans. The Games will primarily take place at the main venue Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center and nearby San Antonio venues June 13-20, 2026. Adaptive military athletes will compete in 11 sports across eight days bringing together competitors from all over the U.S. and representing all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces including: Army, Marine Corps, Navy/Coast Guard, Air Force/Space Force, and Special Operations Command.

“We are proud of this event and everything it represents, but its greatest value is the impact it has on the service members and their families and friends,” said Mr. David Paschal, Director of the Warrior Games. “The Warrior Games are truly life-changing, and it has been an incredible honor for our team to help shape this event, supporting thousands of service members on their journeys of healing and rehabilitation. Now the San Antonio community will have the opportunity to see this inspiring event in person this summer, and we are excited to bring the Warrior Games to Military City USA.”

This year’s event is particularly significant as it highlights San Antonio’s deep connection to the military community, providing a fitting and supportive backdrop for the athletes’ incredible achievements. Today we are proud to reveal the Warrior Games 2026 logo, which incorporates the outline of the Alamo highlighting San Antonio’s most iconic landmark. The design is framed within a dog tag shape—honoring San Antonio’s identity as Military City USA—and includes the Texas star, the River Walk, and Rosita’s Bridge. Together, these elements bring the unmistakable charm and spirit of San Antonio to the Warrior Games.

The athletes will compete in 11 different adaptive sports including archery, cycling, field, indoor rowing, powerlifting, precision air sports, sitting volleyball, swimming, track, wheelchair basketball, and wheelchair rugby.
