1st Sgt. Christopher Morago started his Army Career in the Early Enlistment Program on March 10, 1996. 1st Sgt. Morago currently has served over 28 dedicated years in the service. He was awarded
multiple awards during his honorable service which include four Army Accommodation Medals, three Army Achievement Medals, Army Good Conduct Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, and various
other awards including 16 coins from top leaders for excelling above the Army Standards of Excellence. He is Air Assault Qualified and earned the German Gafette Badge.
1st Sgt. Morago has dedicated his life to training and mentoring fellow Soldiers in becoming the next future leaders of the Army. He served during the Iraqi Freedom Campaign, Covid Mission, and other missions assigned by the Army. He deals with PTSD, depression, and high anxiety. 1st Sgt. Morago acquired many injuries during his military service, including both shoulder, knees, migraines, disc out of
place in lower back, TBI, and Type 2 Diabetes. Although he has many injuries, he still tries to make the best out of life. He says to never acccept defeat or give up. His favorite adaptive sport is cycling on the recumbent bike because it makes him feel alive.
