Jeremy Ditlevson

MAJ Ditlevson enlisted in the Army in 2004 when he was 30 years old. He served as a SGT until he was selected for OCS in 2010 and became a Field Artillery Officer. Ditlevson held multiple positions to include FSO, FDO, Battery Commander, S-4, and Strike Director. After returning from his 5th deployment, he suffered a massive stroke which resulted in a hemiplegia of his ride side, aphasia, and a partial vision impairment. Ditlevson was evacuated to the Audie L. Murphy Poly-Trauma unit in San Antonio and assigned to the JBSA SRU for further treatment. He began his recovery in the Brain Injury Clinic and AR in June of 2023 and started with swimming. He continued to improve every day. Then, he went to an indoor row machine and excelled. The SRU came to discovery that he will face every challenge that is put in front of him. When they said the MAJ would never walk again, he showed them that he would face every battle head on. MAJ Ditlevson’s recovery has gone beyond the expectations of the doctors and care teams.
