I joined the USMC in 1998 and served as an 0341 Mortarman until 2003. In 2009 I rejoined the Marine Corps Reserve as an 0352 Anti Tank Missileman and attended Officer Candidate School while working my way through college. I was commissioned back into the Active Duty component in 2012 as an 0402, Logistics Officer. Participating in Warrior Games last year had a positive effect on my life by introducing me to other athletes who are moving forward in spite of injuries and issues.
