2025 Warrior Games Adaptive Sports
The 2025 Warrior Games featured 11 adaptive sports over 9 days of exciting competition at Colorado College, Norris Penrose Indoor Event Center, and Garry Berry Stadium in Colorado Springs, CO.
Adaptive sports provide an opportunity for wounded, ill and injured service members to improve their physical and mental wellness by leveraging the power of sports and competition. Modified equipment and additional classification systems allow each athlete to compete, regardless of their injury or illness. Adaptive sports featured at the 2025 DoD Warrior Games included archery, cycling, sitting volleyball, swimming, track, field, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby, shooting, indoor rowing, and powerlifting.
