2026 Department of Defense Warrior Games Adaptive Sports
The 2026 DoD Warrior Games features 12 adaptive sports over 8 days of exciting competition at Henry B. González Convention Center and other venues located in San Antonio, TX.
Adaptive sports provide an opportunity for wounded, ill and injured service members to improve their physical and mental wellness by leveraging the power of sports and competition. Modified equipment and additional classification systems allow each athlete to compete, regardless of their injury or illness. Adaptive sports featured at the 2026 DoD Warrior Games included archery, cycling, sitting volleyball, swimming, track, field, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby, shooting, indoor rowing, pickleball, and powerlifting.
