About Volunteering at the Warrior Games
Volunteering at the Warrior Games is more than giving your time. It is the foundation in creating a world-class competition that celebrates resilience, service, and the power of sport. Our volunteers play a critical role in delivering a safe, welcoming, and meaningful experience that supports recovery, connection, and pride for wounded, ill, and injured service members and qualifying veterans.
This year, the Warrior Games comes to San Antonio, a city deeply rooted in military history and community pride. Volunteers will help showcase the heart of Military City, USA while welcoming competitors and families from across the nation. Being part of the Games in San Antonio means contributing to an event that honors service while bringing lasting impact to the local community.

Why are volunteers needed at the Warrior Games?
Volunteers are the backbone of the Warrior Games, helping to bring the competition to life while creating a supportive, organized, and inspiring environment for our competitors, their families and friends.
Is volunteer registration currently live?
Volunteer registration went live on Monday, January 5th. The link at the top of this page will take you to the volunteer registration page. Shift selection will be available at a later date.
Can I volunteer with a group?
We highly encourage groups to volunteer! For inquiries, please reach out to the Volunteer Team at Warrior.Games@populous.com.
What is the deadline to apply as a volunteer?
There currently is no deadline to apply as a volunteer, which means you can sign up for shifts all the way up until Warrior Games in June 2026.
How many shifts am I expected to commit to as a volunteer of the Games?
There is no set number of shifts that you need to apply for. However, our Volunteer Team would love to see you volunteer for multiple days!
Will I be paid as a volunteer?
The Warrior Games volunteer program is unpaid. Snacks, drinks, and a uniform package are provided for all volunteers. Select shifts will be provided a meal.
Will the Warrior Games Volunteer Team help coordinate and support travel and/or lodging for volunteers?
All Warrior Games volunteers are responsible for coordinating and covering the costs of their travel and lodging during their time in San Antonio.
Is there an age requirement to volunteer at the Games?
Yes, all volunteers must be 18 years or older. If your birthday falls on or before June 6th, 2008… you’re eligible!
How do I get credit for my volunteer hours?
After the event, the volunteer team will send out a form where you can request credit for your volunteer hours and note the total number of hours you worked. Just be sure to check in and check out for all your shifts so we can verify your time.
