Initial reasoning for being sent to WWBN-West, was due to a drowning experience that left me needing to be resuscitated, Heli transported to separate hospital, 2 weeks induced coma, 1 month in the ICU, and another month in poly trauma center. Having to relearn how to walk, talk and eat/drink. My participation in the Marine Corps Trials/ Warrior games is 100% voluntary and due to my appreciation of being able to exercise my physical abilities. To test myself to reach greater limits. As well as, to connect with Marines who have also overcome their physical/mental struggles and adversities.
