MACDILL AIR FORCE BASE, Tampa, Fla. – Col. Cary Harbaugh, director of the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Warrior Care Program (Care Coalition), is proud to announce the athletes who will represent “Team SOCOM” at the 2019 Department of Defense (DoD) Warrior Games.

TAMPA (WFLA) – On the White House web page, President Barack Obama reflects on meeting U.S. Army Ranger Cory Remsburg for the first time. They met in 2009 in Normandy, France. Remsburg stood straight and tall with fellow members of his elite combat group.

SOCOM and Tampa gearing up for Defense Department’s Warrior Games, coming here in June

In a little more than six months, some 300 adaptive sports athletes from around the military and about 1,000 of their family members will converge on Tampa to take part in the Defense Department’s Warrior Games.
