Kyle Moser

Kyle Moser is a double AK (above the knee) amputee Marine veteran from the war in Afghanistan. He was awarded two Purple Hearts for injuries sustained while on combat operations. The first, sustaining a head trauma from an IED (Improvised Explosive Device) while on a convoy where his vehicle drove over and was struck by a bomb. 10 days later while on a dismounted patrol, Kyle was leading his squad in formation when he had stepped on his second IED. This explosion took both of Kyle’s legs as well as caused extensive damage to his right forearm. After being stable enough to return home, he completed 3 years of rehabilitation at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
Participating in Warrior Athlete Conditioning Events means everything to me. To get myself out there and show people and veterans my resiliency, perseverance, and dedication to overcome is what drives me on a day-to-day basis. More importantly, to live our best lives for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of the greater good.
