Richard Brennan

I have served my country for over 24+ years. Before I started this journey, I lacked direction and guidance. I came to the door with my pockets turned out. I had nothing to offer but my commitment to build the foundation of the Marine, Man, Husband, Father, Friend, Citizen I am today. I got off the bus and never looked back. I had ambitions of a 4-year spit shine and polish, followed by a reintroduction to society. That’s when September 11th happened. From that day forward I was thrust into a world of what I now understand better than any publication or book representing the Marine Corps fighting spirit. For the next 2 decades I was witness and served amongst the heroes of our time. Giants that walk amongst us. Men and women that earned the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor rising to the occasion being asked to do what many can’t or won’t. Unfortunately, that tempo placed a toll on my body and the proverbial rocks in the pack that weighed heavy on the mind. With the appropriate level of care alignment and resources to identify long term ailments I was able to reduce pain, reenergize focus and offload some of those rocks in the pack. Current goal is to continue to work toward limitations and not allow injury to set limitations and extend longevity.
