Justin Mathers

Justin Mathers is a medically retired Army veteran. He was injured in 2017 after a motorcycle accident and was sent to the SRU at Fort Bragg, where he spent 2 years learning how to live life post-accident with his new disabilities. With the help of adaptive reconditioning program, Justin found a love for cycling and archery. He competed in the 2022 Warrior Games and brought home 7 medals. In 2023, Mathers took his newfound passion to the next level and won 3 national titles in USA paracycling. If it weren’t for his time spent at the SRU and the help he received there from the program coordinators and physical therapists, Justin would not be where he is today. Mathers is grateful for the opportunity that Warrior Games provides to us athletes and is looking forward to being on Team Army.
