After a severe Traumatic Brain Injury SPC Alexis Pantoja went to the Fort Bliss Soldier Recovery Unit. He had to learn to walk again and through therapy and recovery programs and is now able to run. The SRU helped him because given the nature of his injury wasn’t even aware that he needed more recovery. He thinks it would be incredible to participate in the warrior games so people can have an idea of how the health care professionals took good care of him “
