Alexander Robison

Sergeant (SGT) Alexander Robinson, hailing from Youngstown, OH, enlisted in 2017 as a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic (91B), before being wounded in combat in Syria on March 23, 2023. He arrived at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) with significant internal injuries from a suicide drone strike. Throughout his time in the Soldier Recovery Unit (SRU), he actively worked through a remarkable transformation, both physically and emotionally. Embracing the support and challenges provided by the SRU, SGT Robinson demonstrated a vigilant approach to his health, reclaiming strength and endurance. Eager to represent Team Army in the Warrior Games, he enthusiastically pursued the opportunity, viewing it as a chance to signify personal growth, resilience, and camaraderie. Participation in the Army Trials and potential inclusion in the Warrior Games hold profound meaning beyond mere athletic competitions for SGT Robinson.
