Anfernee Moore

Culinary Specialist Third Class AP Moore joined the Navy in 2020 because he wanted a better life, a chance to travel, and to finish his degree. He had an opportunity to check all of these boxes. In his free time, he enjoys billiards and going to the gym, which inspired his Navy Wounded Warrior care team to connect him with the adaptive sports program. He attended his first camp in November 2024, where he found that he liked playing wheelchair basketball. “Navy Wounded Warrior has given me a voice again in this world. I’m still a huge work in process, but I must say it’s in the right direction. I couldn’t be luckier.”
