Michaela Infante

Operation Specialist Third Class Michaela Infante joined the Navy in 2019 because she wanted to make a difference. As Navy Wounded Warrior helped her navigate through her medical evaluation board, a member of her care team introduced her to adaptive sports. They knew she loved powerlifting, yoga, and long and short-distance running, and this was an opportunity to harness that energy into part of her recovery process. She is now an enthusiastic part of Team Navy’s powerlifting team. “I wish I joined sooner. All the people I’ve met are really welcoming and very supportive. I wish to come back next season.”
