Cassandra Ross

Maj (ret) Cassandra Ross served more than 18 years in the United States Air Force and Air National Guard, building a distinguished career rooted in leadership, operational excellence, and global partnership. A native of Helena, Montana where she currently resides, began her military journey in 2005 on active duty before transitioning to the Nevada Air National Guard as an Air Transportation Craftsman. In 2011, she joined the Montana Air National Guard and commissioned in 2014 as a C-130 Hercules Combat Systems Operator. Her career expanded onto the global stage in 2021 when she served as the Bilateral Affairs Office for Sri Lanka and the Maldives, where she played a key role in establishing Montana’s State Partnership Program with both nations. Upon returning to Montana in 2023, she served as Cyber Squadron Commander until her medical retirement in 2025. Now competing in the Department of War Warrior Games, Cassandra embraces the opportunity to grow both mentally and physically while managing a degenerative neurological condition.
