Spencer Gubler

SrA (ret) Spencer Gubler served in the United States Air Force as a Sensor Operator, completing 3.5 years of service. He was introduced to adaptive sports earlier this year at an event with the Air Force Wounded Warrior Program, an experience that became a pivotal part of his recovery. What seemed like a challenge trying something new, quickly turned into a powerful outlet showing him new ways to move, train, and reconnect with his body on his recovery journey. Through the months of training leading up to the Department of War Warrior Games and with the support of his coaches, Spencer has found renewed direction and motivation for life. It’s given him something to strive for, a reason to push forward, and a reminder that his story is still being written.
