Marchelle Macken

TSgt (ret) Marchelle Macken served in the United States Air Force for 14 years as an Aeromedical Evacuation Technician, providing critical inflight care to wounded service members across the globe. Throughout her career, Marchelle supports missions from Spangdahlem and Ramstein, Germany, Pope Army Airfield, and Columbus AFB embodying the “one team, one fight” mentality while caring for service members from all branches. As a first-time competitor at the Department of War Warrior Games representing Team Air Force, it is a full-circle moment for Marchell. After years of serving alongside others in high-tempo, team-driven environments, the Games have reintroduced a sense of camaraderie she deeply missed. For Marchelle, this experience is about more than competition, it’s about belonging, unity, and purpose. It’s an opportunity to channel her hard work and dedication into performance, while proving to herself just how far she can push beyond her limits.
