Wiley Moore

TSgt Wiley Moore has been serving for 20 years in the United States Air Force as a Contracting Specialist. Currently based in San Antonio, Texas, Wiley’s career reflects a legacy of dedication, resilience, and commitment to mission. His journey with the Air Force Wounded Warrior Program began in 2021, following a life-altering motor vehicle accident. After facing significant physical, mental, and emotional challenges, he attended his first event in 2022, marking the start of a new path forward in his recovery. Adaptive sports became a turning point. Through competition and training, Wiley rediscovered a part of himself he thought was lost, his competitive drive. Sports have given him the tools to rebuild, adapt, and ultimately return to duty for the final chapter of his career. What began as recovery became transformation, restoring both purpose and belief in what was possible. Competing in the Department of War Warrior Games for a second time represents the culmination of that journey. From a moment when he questioned whether he would ever walk again, to now representing the Air Force at this level, it is proof for Wiley that limits can be redefined and that strength is amplified through unity and shared experience.
