Christopher Borland

MSgt Christopher Borland has dedicated 19 years of service to the United States Air Force and Space force with a commitment to missions’ success and leadership. Since attending his first event with the Air Force Wounded Warrior Program in 2023, adaptive sports have played a key role in his recovery, giving him a positive outlet to focus his energy while reconnecting with the power of teamwork. Thriving in team environments, he draws strength from working toward goals greater than himself and finds purpose in knowing others are counting on him. As a second-time competitor for Team Air Force, Christopher values the deep, lasting bonds formed with fellow athletes who understand the challenges of recovery. As one of the first Guardians to represent Space Force at the Department of War Warrior Games, he carries a profound sense of pride and responsibility. Through his training and competition, he strives to set an example for others by showing that it’s okay to seek help, to face difficult days, and to keep pushing forward.
