Lillian Warner

Major (ret) Lillian Warner served 11 years in the Air Force as a Cyber Warfare Officer, specializing in defensive operations including forensics and threat emulation. Now retired, she continues to redefine her path forward with the same determination that shaped her time in uniform. Adaptive sports have been transformational for Lillian. Through the unique blend of coaching, community, and competition within the Air Force Wounded Warrior Program, she rediscovered belief in herself during moments when confidence was at its lowest. What once felt like limitations became opportunities. With the support of fellow recovering service members and mentors, she reignited a fire within to train, compete, and embrace the challenge. Adaptive sports didn’t just restore her physical strength; they helped her rediscover joy in the fight and a renewed passion for pushing beyond perceived limits. Earning a spot on Team Air Force to compete at the Department of War Warrior Games represents more than competition, it’s a personal breakthrough. For Lillian, it marks the moment she realized she is still capable of doing hard things. Training has given her purpose, direction, and a fire that continues to grow stronger each day. Competing alongside a team of resilient service members reinforces that strength isn’t just physical, it’s built through perseverance, community, and the courage to keep going.
