Kristen Domke

SSgt Kristen Domke has served in the United States Air Force for 13 years, bringing experience across both Security Forces and Physical Medicine. Throughout her career, Kristen demonstrated adaptability and a commitment to both mission and personal growth. She is currently stationed at Holloman Air Force Base and as she navigates the transition from active duty to a less structured environment, Kristen has leaned into the discipline and goal-oriented mindset that defined her military career. She joined the Air Force Wounded Warrior Program in 2025 and attended her first event in January 2026 at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph. From that point forward, adaptive sports became a key part of her recovery, offering not just physical benefits, but a way to reconnect with herself. Through competition and training, she rediscovered her ability to perform, her love for athletics, and the drive to push herself in new ways. More than anything, it gave her back a sense of enjoyment and energy during a challenging time following her diagnoses. As a first-time competitor representing Team Air Force at the Department of War Warrior Games gives her a renewed sense of direction, giving her something to train for, commit to, and strive toward. It reinforces that she is still capable, still competitive, and still able to achieve at a high level.
