TSgt Brandon Clement has dedicated 14 years of service to the United States Air Force as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist and currently is stationed at Laughlin Air Force Base. Throughout his career, Brandon has remained committed to caring for others, bringing that same strength and resilience into his own recovery journey. He enrolled into the Air Force Wounded Warrior Program in 2024, with his first event being in 2025 at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph for the Air Force & Marine Corps Trials where he participated in adaptive sports marking the beginning of a powerful shift in both mindset and purpose. Adaptive sports have reignited Clement’s drive, giving him a renewed sense of purpose and a community where he can be both strong and vulnerable. Through training and competition, he’s found a support system that feels like family, one that encourages growth, resilience, and connection. The combination of shared struggle, laughter, and competition has allowed him to open up, push forward, and continue healing in ways he didn’t expect. Getting the chance to compete for a second time in the Department of War Warrior Games represents an incredible honor and opportunity. For Brandon, it’s a chance to stand on an elite stage alongside recovering service members who have overcome immense challenges, while representing AFW2 and the United States Air Force. His recovery journey after his cancer diagnosis shaped his perspective, and through competition, he aims to reflect the strength, faith, and perseverance that carried him through. Surrounded by supportive coaches and teammates, he continues to embrace every moment as part of something bigger than himself.
