Allison Smith

SSgt (ret) Allison Smith served in the United States Air Force as an Aircraft Avionics Technician, dedicating her career to ensuring mission-ready aircraft and operational excellence. The Air Force Wounded Warrior Program helped introduce her to adaptive sports and they have played a transformative role in her recovery, providing not only a renewed sense of purpose but also a powerful community of support. Through these experiences, she has built lasting friendships, discovered a deep passion for adaptive sports, and found fulfillment in mentoring others. Allie is committed to showing fellow recovering service members that they are, “stronger than their injuries and capable of more than they ever imagined, both physically and mentally.” Having the opportunity to compete in the 2024 and now 2026 Warrior Games is an honor and a continuation of her journey. Competing allows her to represent something greater than herself, channel strength through sport, and inspire new athletes. For Allie, the Department of War Warrior Games are more than a competition; they are a testament to resilience, connection, and the enduring strength of the wounded warrior community.
